Idil was born in İstanbul in 1990. After graduating from Kadıköy Anatolian High School in 2009, Idil started studying law in Istanbul University and graduated in 2013. In her dissertation phase, she was at University of Cologne as a guest researcher and graduated in 2017 from Istanbul Bilgi University with LL.M degree on Human Rights. Her “Protection of the Right to Freedom of Assembly” titled master thesis was published by On Ikı Levha Yayincilik.
During her academic life in the School of Law, she represented Turkey in various student and professional platforms since she was elected as the President of ELSA Istanbul (European Law Students’ Association) and Secretary General of ELSA Turkey.
Idil, who is member of Istanbul Bar Association since 2014, worked as an attorney at various leading Law Offices, which are experienced especially on Intellectual Property Law. As of May 2018, Idil continues her business life as a founding partner at NM Law Office.
She speaks fluent English and knows German at an intermediate level.
